Tim Ennis

Tim Ennis honed his leadership skills at an early age as a Boy Scout by earning his Eagle Scout award.

He started his career in 1980, while still college studying Business Administration, as the Vice President of Keep It Clean, a large-at-the-time truck mounted carpet cleaning and turnkey restoration company.  At his young age, he was instrumental in securing various government contracts for carpet cleaning and water damage restoration behind the gates of Oak Ridge, the secret city.

Tim worked as a project manager for several small reconstruction companies before advancing to a mature commercial/industrial contractor charged with starting up a new venture as the Reconstruction Division Manager.  He also completed his AIC (Associate in Claims) designation during this period of time and gained respect as an expert industry witness for dozens of court cases.

After reaching his goals and a desired level of efficiency, Tim struck out with his own restoration company during the advent of structural drying.  He promoted competency in the restoration industry and his own business as the host of his own weekly talk radio show.  For many years, he held various leadership positions within the restoration industry, his church and also in community civic organizations.

When he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, he liquidated all of his company locations to find time to seek treatment options.  During his absence in the marketplace, several restoration industry business owners contacted him for advice and problem resolution.  He contracted as a consultant in Southern Florida only months before and during Hurricanes Charley, Francis, Ivan and Jean where he helped build another strong company.  Tim has worked through many large losses and many commercial claims during his career, both on the scene and behind the scenes.

Tim discovered his passion as an instructor which he had essentially been doing throughout his career.  He has trained many successful Project Managers and has implemented many new processes for business owners along the way.   Teaching course is a conduit to share his knowledge and his 30 years of experience with the multiples.  He currently teaches his own courses on Temporary Power Solutions, Project Management and Crew Chief Development.

Tim Ennis now resides in Southern Florida with his wife and daughter.  He maintains a leadership role in his church, is an active member of the National Parkinson’s Foundation, enjoys offshore fishing and boating.  Tim has also spent much of the last 5 years in pioneering a new frontier of infectious disease resolution as a new service for the restoration industry.
