Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS)

Course Description: Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS) is an advanced drying concepts and management course. The focus of this class is on commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential buildings. The goal of this course is to teach students the composition of commercial structures, advanced inspection techniques, advanced psychrometric charting, and the details required to manage a large drying project.
Course Includes: Workbook and tuition included.

Fire And Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)

Course Description: The Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician course concentrates on technical procedures for successfully completing the restoration of a fire and smoke damaged environment. Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to managing the job site and how that relates to pricing the job.
Course Includes: After successfully completing the final exam ($50 exam fee*), the graduate will earn certification from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification). (This course qualifies for two IICRC CECs for Cleaning & Restoration.)
*All exam fees are due at the time of exam. Checks for exam fee made out directly to IICRC. Exam form also accepts credit card payment.

Odor Control Technician (OCT)

Course Description: The Odor Control Technician course covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options, and applications. The student will learn how to address odors caused from biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination, and mold; combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage; and chemical sources such as fuel-oil spills or volatile organic chemicals.
Course Includes: After successfully completing the final exam ($50 exam fee*), the graduate will earn a certification from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification). This course qualifies for one IICRC CEC (Continuing Education Credit).

Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)

Course Description: The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations, or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants. This course is based on the IICRC S-520 Standard & Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation, the Bioaerosols Assessment & Control, the NYC Health Guidelines, and the EPA Mold & Moisture Guidelines.
Course Includes: After successfully completing the final exam ($150 exam fee*), the graduate will earn certification from the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification). The IICRC WRT is a prerequisite for the AMRT.
